Ed is leading a workshop for the Humanities department at the International Space University this summer, at the Space Studies Programme hosted by Cork Institute of Technology. LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is an innovative, experiential process, powerful tool designed to enhance innovation and business performance. In this case, we’ll be using the techniques to develop a consensus (whole group) understanding and story of the value of the whole humanities department.
So, while that’s the first purpose of the workshop, there is the underlying experiment in which we explore the challenges of multi-cultural, multi-language, multi-discipline thinking and capturing an effective consensus position. This is a real challenge for conventional methods, so LSP offers a potentially very effective and rapid alternative. Let’s see how that works out! I’ll report back in August about how it goes…
