Selling an Idea: A Quick Tour through Space…

…related ideas, projects, and approaches.

This is an invited talk at Downstream@DOCK – Leicester’s space sector business incubator programme co-funded by the UK Space Agency. Ed will be talking through the wide range of ‘exploratory’ (polite word for ‘perhaps crazy’) ideas that have been proposed, supported, and developed by UK startups and companies over the last 2-3 years, and a couple of the really large crazy ideas that have taken much longer.

The purpose to this will be to introduce how innovation gets handled in the sector, how much support there is even if you’re unsure your idea will even work let alone have useful market traction, and also how to draw down funding and which buttons to push.

When?

17th November 2016, 10:00. (OK, I’m guessing the time, and I’ll update this when I know for sure.)

Why?

As part of a series of talks arranged by the team at DOCK, I’m hoping this will be both complementary and different. Let’s see how that pans out.

And if you happen to be reading this because you are thinking of trying out an idea or a business – please get in touch with the team at DOCK (0116 225 7900) or Ed (contact via this site), or Just Start Already. There’s nothing stopping you. Really.
